The Anales de la Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia embraces all aspects of pharmaceutical sciences and is a quarterly journal that publishes basic and applied research on pharmaceutical sciences and related areas. It is a medium for reporting selected original and significant contributions to new pharmaceutical knowledge.

Published every three months by the Royal Spanish National Academy of Pharmacy, the journal publishes articles, communications, short reports, reviews and letters. Originals submitted to the journal are analysed by ad hoc referees.

Publication of theAnales de la Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia is in the charge of the Editors, and its policy and planning are responsibility of the Editorial Advisory Board.

Its abbreviated title is An. R. Acad. Nac. Farm., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.

Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, copyright of the article shall be assigned to the Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia.

Copyright encompasses exclusive rights to reproduce and deliver the article in all form and media, including reprints, photographs, microfilms and any other similar reproductions, as well as translations. The reproduction of any part of this journal, its storage in databases and its transmission by any form or media - such as electronic, electrostatic and mechanical copies, photocopies, recordings, magnetic media, etc. - will be allowed only with a written permission from the Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia.

The Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia, the editors and the Advisory Editorial Board make every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions or statements be published in the journal.
